BIS Hanoi celebrates outstanding IGCSE results 2025

Behind every grade is countless hours of study, commitment, and the encouragement of teachers, classmates, and families. These successes are a powerful reminder of what our students can accomplish when they work hard and support one another. 

Mr. Lee Falconer, Head of Secondary, shared: “We are immensely proud of every student for what they have achieved through their hard work and perseverance. Our students’ dedication to their studies, coupled with the challenge and support of our wonderful teaching team at BIS Hanoi, has not only produced excellent academic outcomes, but has also provided every student with a rich and rewarding learning journey through their IGCSE programme. These results open doors and give every student a solid foundation upon which to build in the IBDP and BIS Diploma in Years 12 and 13. Our students’ achievements in both the IBDP (Year 13) and IGCSE (Year 11) programmes are exceptional, not just this year, but every year to date, and are consistently the best of any school in Hanoi. Congratulations to our IGCSE graduates – may the next 2 years of your time at BIS Hanoi be equally successful, enjoyable and full of exciting learning opportunities!” 

The IGCSE is an internationally recognised qualification that provides students with a strong academic foundation while also nurturing vital skills such as independence, critical thinking, and resilience. These qualities will serve our students well as they take the next exciting step into the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or BIS Diploma. 

We could not be prouder of our students, not only for their results but also for the way they balanced academic commitment with wellbeing, friendships, and the vibrant life of our school community.
